An illegal fire at Teewah Beach has sparked a stern warning from Queensland Parks and Wildlife.

Rangers say if it wasn't for the quick thinking of nearby campers, the fire could have spread through thousands of hectares of inaccessible country.

Why no fire breaks. Thats right national parks don't manage the land they just Take it and lock it up. We have seen there management in NSW, QLD, VIC and WA. Thousands of native animals dead which could take some almost to extinction and native plants damaged for many years. Time for new way or give land back to public reserves where it was looked after and not let get out of control and more people could use it as well in the day.
